History
This section is dedicated to the most important stages in the long history of the Accademia, from 1583 (year of its stable constitution) until the present day. Special attention is given to the five editions of the Vocabolario degli Accademici, which have proven fundamental in the difficult path towards the establishment of Italian as a national language.
